Sweeping is the key concept to TEMeditation.

Sweeping is the act of choreographing the action of breathing with a deliberate, outward spread of perceptiveness of tactile sensation of latex covering your entire body during meditation.

With each inhale you suck in Chi energy from the Universe. Right? That's what they say.

You sweep when you exhale.  Imagine in your mind as the air is escaping from your lungs that you are 'blowing' some of that energy to all of the places on your body where you can feel the rubber's embrace. Start at some central part of your body and 'broadcast' it outward, across your body to the tips of your fingers and toes...

...with each  exhale.

Relax. Breathe normally.  That's important. This is not an athletic event.

Of course you will stumble with the cadence at first. But after a few breathe cycles, your brain will have 'mapped' the experience and you should settle into a comfortable rhythm.  It happens so fast that you don't really think about it much.

While in TE meditation, first focus on the rise and fall of your belly as you breathe. As you inhale, move your tactile perception outward to the rest of your body. Try to expand your perception from this point outward to the rest of your body as you reach your maximum point of inhalation. then, as you exhale, try to hold that full-body tactile perception as long as you can.

Feel the total enclosure with each breath.
